Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Daily Architect Labs ("we", "us") and apply to the Daily Dictate Chrome extension and this website. By installing or using Daily Dictate, you agree to them.

What Daily Dictate does

Daily Dictate turns your speech into text on your own computer and inserts it into the text box you choose. How it handles your information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Your license

You may install and use Daily Dictate for personal or business purposes. You may not sell, rent or redistribute it, or copy it into another product, except where the open-source licenses of its components allow it. Those licenses are listed in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt inside the extension.

Your content and responsibility

You own everything you dictate. Speech recognition can make mistakes, so check the text before you send or publish it. Do not use Daily Dictate to record other people without their consent where the law requires it.

Free plan and Pro

Daily Dictate has a free plan with a daily dictation limit and a paid plan, Pro. Current prices and what each plan includes are shown on our pricing page before you buy.

Orders are processed by Dodo Payments, our online reseller and merchant of record. Dodo Payments handles payment, billing, sales tax and invoices, and its buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time with the link in your receipt email or in the customer portal, and Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. The lifetime option is a single payment for Pro in current and future versions of Daily Dictate for as long as we offer the product.

Each license key may be activated in up to 3 Chrome browsers that you use. Do not share, publish or resell your key. A key from a cancelled, refunded or charged-back purchase stops working. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Third-party services

Speech models are downloaded from Hugging Face, the optional punctuation polish uses AI built into Chrome by Google, and Pro purchases and license checks are handled by Dodo Payments. Those services are governed by their own terms.

No warranty

Daily Dictate is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of transcriptions, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from your use of Daily Dictate. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Daily Dictate in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use Daily Dictate after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
